We can bet our last dollar that Rosie Assoulin’s creations are going to get increasingly bedazzled – the designer just won the 2016 Swarovski Collective Award in recognition of her creativity and contributions to the fashion industry.

The New York-based designer, who started her eponymous label in 2014, will not only receive a generous prize award of €25,000, but also a year-long crystal product and financial support from the Austrian crystal company, which will no doubt help add a lot of sparkle and shine to her upcoming collections.

Rosie Assoulin, commented: “Swarovski has been such an amazing partner. Working with their crystal gives us a creative outlet that would be impossible to access otherwise. It makes designing that much more fun when you are working with such an amazing product which is so versatile. We are truly so lucky to have Swarovski supporting us and what we do, and this award really is such an incredible honor.”

Assoulin is no stranger to Swarovski – she previously won the Swarovski Award for Womenswear at the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards and had collaborated on am Atelier Swarovski collection slated for fall 2016.  She is selected as this year’s winner by Swarovski from the current Swarovski Collective membership, including Alexander Lewis, Christian Wijnants, Creatures of the Wind, David Koma, Dion Lee, Emilia Wickstead, Esteban Cortazar, Peter Pilotto, Tanya Taylor, Thomas Tait, Tim Coppens, and Tome.
