While millennial pink dominated the runways of Fall 2018, Fall 2019 makes way for a whole new hue: Purple. From Tom Ford to Christian Siriano and many more, the luxurious (and royalty-associated) colour definitely ruled the season, with many celebrities also donning the popular colour. Different shades of purple are all in trend for Fall, from the lighter lilacs and lavenders to the rich berry, plums and violets.

Check out some of our favourite runway looks this season:

Beyond the runway, celebrities were also spotted donning gorgeous purple numbers on the red carpets this year, from Emilia Clarke's metallic purple Balmain dress at the Oscars 2019 red carpet closer to the beginning of the year, to Katy Perry's sleek Tom Ford dress at the premiere of 'Carnival Row' recently. Many rocked the purple tulle as well, such as Laverne Cox's extravagant tulle Christian Siriano dress at the premiere of the final season of 'Orange is The New Black', and Araya Hargate's gradient Ralph & Russo dress at the Cannes 2019 red carpet.
