Power Of Positivity: L'Officiel Singapore's July 2020 Issue Is Out Now
The past few months have been marked by great upheaval, but one aspect that remains constant here at L’Officiel Singapore is a desire to uplift and inspire. And so, as the nation moves forward in its reopening plans following the pandemic pause, this month’s issue is dedicated to three key P’s: Pre-Fall 2020, power women, and of course, positivity.

“We could all use a dose of positivity at the moment, and our July issue certainly delivers on the feel-good front. Besides bringing you all the highlights of the Pre-Fall 2020 season, we’re also shining a spotlight on 20 powerhouse women in the hopes of giving you a much-needed motivation boost,” says Ian Lee, Editor-in-Chief of L’Officiel Singapore. “Get inspired by an impressive roll call of changemakers that includes Crazy Rich Asians star Gemma Chan, celebrity skincare expert Dr. Barbara Sturm, homegrown pastry chef Janice Wong, and local model and runway regular Layla Ong.”
Reflecting the positive shift that has occurred as a result of the recent dialogues surrounding sustainability and seasonality, this year’s Pre-Fall 2020 offerings seem to lean heavily toward the classic, buy-now-wear-forever end of the spectrum. Case in point: the brand new Bobby satchel from Dior, Louis Vuitton’s LV Pont 9 shoulder bag, and the California Sky Collection from Fendi and Joshua Vides, which fill the pages of STYLE. Not to mention the latest and loveliest looks from Prada, Gucci, Saint Laurent, Givenchy, Salvatore Ferragamo and the like, to be found in the electrifying spreads of MODE.
More uplifting content awaits in BEAUTY, BIJOUX, and LIVING. Find out how Cartier’s Marie-Laure Cérède is carrying on the legacy of innovation and intrepidity begun by Jeanne Toussaint almost a century ago, and how Dr. Barbara Sturm is keeping her skin and soul alive at home. Then discover how local and international talents alike are making the most of the current crisis, from hip-hop artist Masia One to the founders of experimental cocktail bar No Sleep Club to modelling sensation (and L’Officiel’s past cover girl) Tian Yi.
“Once again, L’Officiel Singapore proves it has a finger on the pulse of the latest news and hottest offerings across fashion, beauty, jewellery, and art de vivre in its latest issue,” says Olivier Burlot, CEO and Publisher of Heart Media. “We’re also celebrating the female trailblazers we love and look up to, in the spirit of spreading joy and positivity during this unprecedented time.”
