Polène Opens Store in London
French leather goods brand Polène is now in the United Kingdom, after opening boutiques in Paris, New York, Tokyo and Seoul.
There is now one more physical space to shop Polène’s super sought-after bags and accessories. After opening stores in Paris, New York, Tokyo and Seoul, the French leather goods brand has found its way to London. Located at 74-76 Regent Street, Polène’s two-floor store in the United Kingdom was designed by Seoul-based architecture firm, WGNB, which also worked on the flagship in South Korea. The “soft brutalist” architectural elements of the latest boutique have to make the perfect backdrop for the minimal, sculptural designs of Polène. Inventive leather upcycling is another key talking point of the brand’s foray into London — the ground floor features a wall of “bricks” made from compressed leather scraps, while its centre table was crafted from 230 kg of leather fragments.
