Palm Angels Drops New Recovery Sneakers

The A$AP Rocky-approved brand's new kicks are made of mesh and leather, and feature Velcro straps.

Following its New York Fashion Week debut two weeks ago, Palm Angels has released the new Recovery sneakers from its Spring/Summer 2019 collection. Like the rest of the collection, the shoes borrow heavily from the aesthetics of American culture, a key inspiration for the Italian brand's designer, Francesco Ragazzi, since he started Palm Angels as a photography project documenting Los Angeles' skater scene.

Made of leather and mesh, the Recovery sneakers are fastened with a pair of Velcro straps that feature Palm Angels' gothic logo, while heel tabs labelled "Recovery" poke out from the back of the shoes. The sneakers also provide an extra lift with their dual-toned chunky soles. Speaking of colours, the Recovery sneakers come in vivid colour combinations such as Black/Purple, Black/Red and White/Orange.
