Christian Louboutin Launches its First Runner Sneakers, 'Run Loubi Run'

Bold hues, shimmering leather embellished with crystal spikes and a complementing signature red sole: these are the ingredients for Christian Louboutin's first luxury runner shoes, "Run Loubi Run".

Designed to merge functionality with style, the new sneakers also boast cushioning technical foams, an exagerrated shank for comfort and statement-making neoprene sock uppers.

To celebrate the launch of the Run Loubi Run collection, Christian Louboutin has collaborated with actor and recording artist Quincy Brown to direct, produce and star in a short film featuring the new shoes. The shoes makes their screen debut in a surrealistic post-modern romance film that manifests the ideas of passion, creativity and a sense of community.

Sporting the men's ‘Red Runner’ shoes, Quincy interacts with exhibits in a futuristic gallery, eventually leading him to meet Peruvian actress and model, Juana Burga. The film's neon flasy lights and groovy moves help to accentuate the urban visual appeal of each Run Loubi Run shoe.
