Milla Jovovich Leads a Gang of Superhuman Teens in Kenzo's New Film
On screen, superhumans tend to be depicted in costumes that are as impractical as they are unrealistic (and sometimes even a little tacky). They're never seen in stylish designer garb, and the last person you'd expect to play their leader is a supermodel. Thankfully, Kenzo is here to change all that with its new film, The Everything.
Written and directed by Kenzo creative director Humberto Leon, The Everything stars Milla Jovovich as the head of a brood of superpowered teenagers, aptly portrayed by X-Men actors Alexandra Shipp and Kodi Smit-McPhee, as well as model Sasha Frolova.
In the 30-minute short, the characters learn to navigate their daily lives with their unusual powers while dressed head-to-toe in (what else?) Kenzo the entire time. You'll be able to spot the brand's Fall/Winter 2018 collection, as well as the Henri Rosseau-inspired pieces from its La Collection Memento N°3.
Marking Leon's first directorial effort, The Everything will premiere on 7 September at New York Fashion Week and later be screened on Kenzo's website on 8 September. Until then, you can get a glimpse of the film in the Grimes-soundtracked trailer below:
