Max Mara The Cube Practices Mindful Fashion with their Cameluxe Collection

The brand’s Autumn-Winter 2021 collection features ten upcycled pieces using discarded camelhair fabrics.

Max Mara The Cube — an innovative division of the brand that focuses on reversible and packable quilts — takes on sustainable fashion with their latest collection of coats titled ‘Cameluxe’.

The fabric used for the collection is recycled from unused camelhair fabrics to create a warm, stylish insulating pad for cold winter days. It features a series of clothing in shades of caramel, rock salt, coal, black, and dark blue — muted colours for the optimal pairing of apparel, making for one less thing to think about when choosing an outfit for the day.

Cameluxe is also Textile Exchange-certified for meeting the Global Recycling Standard, with its production saving materials that would have otherwise been discarded to decrease energy consumption, waste and limit carbon dioxide emissions.

If you are one for ethical fashion repurposing, you can consider investing in new autumn or winter wear from the collection.

The collection is available online at maxmara.com and in-store.
