French luxury Maison, Louis Vuitton, never fails to combine sophistication with a touch of playfulness on the runway, and this year's Paris Fashion Week was no exception. Within the walls of the renowned Musée d’Orsay, Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton's creative director, brought forth the new Fall/Winter 2023 collection.

The show's ambiance, from the intense luminosity to the natural Parisian street sounds, gave power to the female walk. Each design demonstrated a great level of detail as well as distinctive fabric combinations which highlighted the classic French allure we all know and love. Squid Game actress and model Jung Ho-Yeon closed off the show as a welcomed surprise, wearing a magnificent black and white knee-length dress.

Monochromatic looks were the center of attention with a few exceptions, of course. There were sporadic moments of bold accessories and multi-colored patterns to tie the greys and whites together. With the inclusion of contrasting fabrics, playful silhouettes, and even some 1920s-inspired footwear, Ghesquière was able to create a homogenous collection through and through.
