Longchamp's SS24 Collection Passes The Chic Test With Flying Colours
Consider this an open house visit to the Longchamp University — go ahead and peek into the grounds, meet the stylish students and experience the winning looks of Spring/Summer 2024
Youthful, preppy and very Parisienne — this is the look for enrolment for art classes at Longchamp University. Think tees, sweatshirts, jackets and dresses bearing the logo of the chic establishment. There’s a good dash of glam as well — after all, dressing in Paris is often about giving casual classics that unexpected twist. This is why a grey tee can be layered under a sequinned dress, and a baseball jacket style pairs effortlessly with a fluid metallic skirt. Essentials for Singapore include the knotted tee and cropped sweatshirt printed with the Longchamp signature, as well as the head-turning crochet pieces with daisy motifs, while shorts crafted from upcycled silk scarves are perfect for those beach vacations in Bali or Phuket. Another staple, denim, is decorated with all-over racehorse patterns — everything you need to take first place in the class of style.
Where accessories are concerned, the iconic Le Pliage® has been rendered in straw-like canvas, the Box-Trot comes in impactful colour-blocking, and the Roseau takes the form of a small, soft bucket for Spring/Summer 2024. There’ll be no problem skipping on campus grounds with the Longchamp kicks of the season — the house offers sandals in collaboration with artisanal brand K.Jacques, Roseau espadrilles, and loafer-clogs bearing matching daisy motifs.
“This collection is a tribute to university students who are curious, eager to learn, and enriched by their contact with other cultures. They share an apartment in the capital with girls from different countries, and all of them adapt to life in Paris, cultivating a style that draws on diverse inspirations,” says Longchamp Creative Director Sophie Delafontaine.
