LIVE: Tory Burch Spring/Summer 2018
Last season, the glamorous Tracy Lord (Katharine Hepburn's character in The Philadelphia Story) played muse to Tory Burch – influencing a collection of winter whites, Fair Isle knits, and barn jackets contrasted with tweeds and shearling. As expected, the prints were loud and vivacious with botanicals, florals, and large-scale plaids. As a throwback to Burch's own Main Line roots, bold accessories completed the narrative, complete with gold medallion necklaces, mens' briefcases, and rhinestone bauble buttons.
It seems for Spring/Summer 2018, the house will look to another muse for inspiration: English interior designer, David Nightingale Hicks. A zeitgeist of interior design in the 1960's, he was cited by Burch herself as a main source of inspiration in her works.
Tune it right here on Friday, September 8 at 10PM (SG) / 10AM (US) for front row access to the Tory Burch Spring/Summer 2018 runway show.
