Julia Garner & Sadie Sink Bring Kate Spade's SS19 Campaign to Life
Kate Spade, with its penchant for floral patterns and pastel colours, stays true to its basic brand DNA for its Spring 2019 collection. With her designs, newly-christened creative director Nicola Glass invites women to become the main protagonists of their own stories and celebrate the different moments of their lives across generations and styles.
The accompanying campaign shows us the same fun and festive mood we know and love Kate Spade for. Shot by Tim Walker, the campaign features actresses Julia Garner, Kiki Layne and Stranger Things' Sadie Sink as the fresh new faces of the brand.
Walker, known for his whimsical and imaginative photographs, had previously worked with Kate Spade herself for the brand's campaigns in the early 2000s — a collaboration that Nicola Glass that is bringing back in 2019 by enlisting the British photographer to shoot all Kate Spade campaigns for the year.
