In Good Shape: Bottega Veneta Fall/Winter 2019 Accessories
The BV Rim: a rectangular clutch with a striking angled metal handle and horizontal padding.
The Pouch, which was first launched for Pre-Fall 2019 as one of the brand's new classics, became an almost instant waitlist item. Originally in smooth calfskin, the number with a frame and voluminous, rounded shape has been updated in metallics and with plenty of fine leather strips.
Besides its noticeable triangular hardware piece on the strap, the Padded Cassette also comes with Daniel Lee's "maxi weave", which is already a new signature for the house.
Flat Tote in Intrecciato - this is mostly classic BV, with a surprise triangular (clearly one of Lee's choice shapes) cut-out for the handles.
Lee finds inspiration from the home and everyday hardware - and that is quite evident on The Handle clutch, which looks good enough to be an ornament for the finest house interior.
Another Daniel Lee original from Pre-Fall 2019, the Marie of Fall/Winter 2019 comes upated with a "padded" exterior that reminds us of an ice tray, and all its glorious antique-style hardware. Very cool if we do say so ourselves.
Acing trigonometry is no small matter with this collection: besides the triangular details of the other bag styles, there's also the evening-worthy Pyramid bag.
Is it a giant lock? Is it a vanity case? No, it's the new futuristic Mini Case in calf. It's "proper" enough for work, and statement enough for parties.
