Evoking the glowing eyes of lovers, the Gucci Lovelight collection brings out all the natural shades of romance.
Through the designs of clothing, shoes, accessories, jewellery, eyewear and lifestyle items, the Gucci Lovelight collection offers light-catching textures on a colourful palette, embodying a romantic aesthetic of love. Evolving from the looks of previous collections, the diamond-patterned leather detail is expertly stitched to create a playful design, reminiscent of one of the fashion house's iconic codes.
The collection also features some signature designs such as the Gucci Beloved Gucci Bamboo 1947 bag, embellished with leather detailing with highlight studs and heart-shaped cut-outs.
Another bag shape from the Beloved line, the Gucci Diana mini tote bag, is stylised with a bamboo handle and romantic motifs, while the medium-sized version expresses a more intense feeling of romance through the rivet details.
The effervescence of Gucci Lovelight's love is reflected in other striking details such as the sparkling upper on the Screener sneakers and the crystal set in Gucci jewellery, while the hand-embroidered flowers expresses the fashion house's passion for lyrical nature.
The Gucci Lovelight collection was launched in a special visual campaign with a playful energy that depicts friends sharing special moments. The story is interspersed with a series of costumes that are fun and meaningful at the same time, and as the eyes of two of the main characters continue to find each other, the mood is full of romance but teasingly ambiguous.
