Fendi Announces the Opening of its New Boutique in Mykonos
The Italian fashion House expands with a renovated point of sale in the Aegean Sea, within Nammos Village, one of the most important shopping and summer destinations located in the south of the Greek island.
Inspired by the Mediterranean culture and Mykonos style, along with Fendi's codes, this new boutique has been designed with a special and exclusive concept.
Created with the traditional white architecture of the Cyclades, it welcomes the entire Fendi universe in which we can find all the categories of the women's and men's fashion lines.
Thanks to the many windows, the interior and exterior of the boutique are connected with sunlight filling the rooms. The appearance of the spaces is elegant, with tones, shapes, finishes and furniture typical of interiors on the island. The walls are characterized by rounded shapes and arches emphasized by the use of light-coloured pozzolanic and natural stone. The ceiling is made of white beams and bamboo, while the floor is made of oak wood with light blue resin inserts.
The ground floor, separated from the unisex line, is dedicated to leather goods, accessories and footwear, displayed on turquoise oxidized copper displays, evoking the hues of the seabed.
Going up the staircase gently with ivory resin treads, the first floor opens up to an area dedicated to women's and men's ready-to-wear. The dressing room also intrigues shoppers with a beautiful raffia wallpaper with inserts.
The furnishings are a selection of custom-made pieces in travertine and pieces reminiscent of local interiors in wood, rattan and bamboo. The space has two terraces designed to give continuity to the interior sensation: Light blue resin on the floor and raffia and bamboo furniture. Handmade coloured ceramic vases also enrich the space.
The emblematic Peekaboo ISeeU Medium in white crocodile, with a white leather lining, shiny finishes along with a Pequin motif wooden handle and palladium fittings, is sold as a European exclusive at the Mykonos boutique, making this new boutique the ideal spot to live and share the experience of the Italian House.
