Dior's Signature Bags Get a Chinese New Year Update
By now as equally ubiquitous as the Dior Oblique monogram, Dior’s Toile de Jouy pattern has graced everything from evening gowns to handbags. The last time we saw it, the classic fabric even included wild animals like tigers and bears in its pastoral setting for Cruise 2019. Now, the Maison has given its quintessential motif yet another update specially for Chinese New Year.
Made over in a vibrant red hue, the new floral pattern lends a festive air to Dior's signature bags such as the Dior Book Tote, the Diorama bag, the Saddle bag and the My Lady Dior handbag. The pattern also appears across a range of leather goods and accessories, including scarves and sneakers.
To pay homage to the Chinese holiday even further, Dior has also unveiled a limited edition Diorelita bracelet that features bright red links and a medal adorned with a hydrangea, the number 8 and Christian Dior's initials. Check it out in the gallery below.
