All The Best Vacation Looks From Netflix’s Single’s Inferno Season 3
Time to upgrade your island wardrobe.
Since the third season of Single’s Inferno concluded last week, with four final couples emerging, we’ve not stopped thinking about the best moments from the show. And safe to say, we’ve all admittedly been curious about the contestants’ lives since the series ended, checking out their Instagram profiles trying to see which pairs are still going strong.
You may not have been on the island of Single’s Inferno but Singapore’s weather makes the island our very own Inferno. With the sweltering heat and the relentless humidity, need we say more? Though the burning heat of Single’s Inferno has died down, the blistering temperatures in Singapore are still as high as ever. So here, we’ve found the best style trends we spotted from the 12 contestants of the series that you can adapt to your own wardrobe for those island vibes.
Sundresses
Even in Inferno, the girls of the island made sure they were looking sharp. To match the sunny vibes, we saw many, many different sundresses on display. Of those we spotted, we especially loved Si-eun’s short white number that she wore on the first day, for its strappy top and little cutouts by the side. Plus, the flowy hem added a romantic touch. Ha-jeong’s off-the-shoulder sunshine yellow maxi dress was another favourite of ours.
Knit Shirts
Amongst the guys’ style, the most obvious pattern was the array of knit tops they wore on the island. Every single guy owned soft knit shirts, whether understated, textured (just like Min-woo wore on the first day) or patterned, and we’re here for it. Breezy knits make great hot-weather choices since you can feel a bit more dressed up while keeping things light and sweat-free.
Tube Tops
If you’ve ever fallen victim to pesky tanlines on your shoulders, take a cue from the girls on Single’s Inferno. Tube tops and dresses were a dime a dozen on the show, since they let your shoulders and arms tan evenly. Gyu-ri especially loved wearing tube tops (including the popular Diesel bandeau top) but Ha-jeong also rocks them in her casual, everyday style. Consider metallic details or textured fabrics to add some jazz to the simple silhouette.
Denim Shirts
There was definitely a denim resurgence on Single’s Inferno. From oversized denim shackets (shirt jackets, for those unaware) to figure-accentuating denim dresses, both the men and women rocked the blues this season. While looser fits are great for blazing days under the sun, the light-wash denim dresses worn by Gyu-ri and Min-ji tell us that the retro look is still very much alive.
Linen Sets
During the finale, we couldn’t help but notice all the linen sets worn by the men of the island. Perfect for hot summer days, linen is a forgiving fabric that provides airflow while still retaining some structure. With shorts or with dressier pants, the co-ord sets offered a sense of formality to the men’s looks. Of course, sleek black linen is a safe choice that adds a touch of class but go for a bright shade of pink like Won-ik or Jin-seok’s violet-toned purple, if you’re feeling up for it.
