Accessories: Hands On With THE DOT x ATIENZA
Who doesn’t enjoy art? Designer Suki Tsui knew this when she launched THE DOT, the Hong Kong accessories label putting personal creativity at the heart of every of its collections. Tsui herself scouts for different artists around the world, bringing their unique prints and illustrations to life with fashion pieces.
For its The Dot x ATIENZA exclusive collection, The Dot teams with artist Jayson Atienza, who has worked with brands including GAP, Givenchy, Havaianas and whose apparel has been spotted on photographer David LaChapelle and golfer Tiger Woods. “Acquainted through a mutual friend of mine, Jayson Atienza’s amicable personality and unique design sensibilities immediately drew me in and I’m excited to collaborate with him on my latest collection,” says Tsui.
His signature print is the perfect canvas for personalisation. Hence, The Dot gives us the option to buy products from this collection in ‘plain’ for us to colour, making these pieces truly one of our own. Take your pick from scarves, clutches, bags, wallets, cardholders and pocket squares.
