Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2019 Stars Alicia Vikander, Michelle Williams & More
Louis Vuitton has chosen an all-star cast for its Pre-Fall 2019 lookbook, confirming a growing trend of pre-collections — traditionally seen as a commercial fill in between seasonal runway shows — to act as major communication platforms for luxury brands.
Creative director Nicolas Ghesquière unveiled his new collection through a diverse, 17-strong cast of personalities ranging from musicians to Hollywood actresses from Oscar-winning films and TV shows. On the list are Alicia Vikander, Michelle Williams, Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, Jennifer Connelly, Chloë Grace Moretz, Westworld's Thandie Newton, Léa Seydoux, Indya Moore, Ruth Negga, Laura Harrier, Riley Keough, Kelsey Asbille and Kelela. The campaign also features international actresses from South Korea, Thailand and China, such as Doona Bae, Samara Weaving, Urassaya Sperbund and Zhong Chuxi.
