Gucci Serves Up a Delicious Pre-Fall 2019 Lookbook
Gucci has recently unveiled its Pre-Fall 2019 lookbook and it's just as eccentric as you'd expect it to be. The clothes, for one, are a feast for the eyes, featuring everything from strawberry prints to illustrated cat patches (what did we tell you about fashion's love for felines?). For the new collection, Alessandro Michele has also thrown in a glittering jumpsuit (disco isn't dead!), zebra print shoulder bags and a handful of berets featuring a new Gucci logo.
Making the lookbook even more enticing, though, is the fact that each of the elaborately-dressed models have been photographed holding snacks: potato chips, lollipops, sodas, fruit juices and every other edible guilty pleasure you can think of.
The lookbook was shot by Harmony Korine — the director of the films Kids and Spring Breakers, as well as Rihanna's Needed Me music video — at Herculaneum and Pompeii as a nod to Gucci's Italian cultural heritage. Whether the snacks idea was Michele's or Korine's, we can't say, but one thing's for sure: we're eating up everything Gucci is serving, as usual.
