ZICO Gives Behind-The-Scenes Look of New Single with BLACKPINK's Jennie

South Korean rapper, ZICO is celebrating the 10th anniversary of his decade-long music career in a big way! The renowned producer recently announced that he would be dropping a new digital single titled, 'SPOT!' featuring the one and only, Jennie of BLACKPINK. The hype has since ignited to feverish degrees when he dropped a snippet of Jennie's verse on his Instagram, showcasing the idol's powerful vocals. In the clip, the two stars were seen vibing to the unreleased track in a recording studio. Thankfully, the digital single is slated to drop on April 26th, 6pm KST. Check it out below!

The digital single comes highly anticipated because it's a big moment for not just ZICO, but Jennie as well. This is the global star's first solo feature since the establishment of her own talent agency, Odd Atelier late last year. For ZICO, this single is a celebration the ten-year mark since his solo debut with the single, 'Tough Cookie' in 2014, following his activities in boy group, Block B.

Since then, he has established himself as not just a talented rapper but also as a producer who seamlessly blends the sounds and talents of the hip-hop scene with mainstream appeal. Famously ahead of the trends, ZICO tends to set them with him being the pioneer of TikTok dance challenges. All thanks to the viral success of his 2020 single, 'Any Song'. 

It looks like we can also look forward to a music video featuring Jennie as well with the rapper gaving released details on when we can expect more teasers photos and videos in the lead up to the drop. With Jennie now free to manage her own solo activities, BLINKs are hopeful that this will be the first of many features and collabs in future.
