Blackpink’s Jennie Launches Label ‘Odd Atelier’

The international pop star took to her personal Instagram to confirm the launch

Talented rapper, international fashion icon and now label owner? It’s true, Blackpink’s Jennie has embarked on yet another venture. This time, it’s her very own label called Odd Atelier, or OA for short. While the news had been brewing for several days, the 27-year-old singer took to Instagram to properly announce the establishment of OA.

 

The company has an official account, with its first posts released two days ago. The brief introduction reads, “OA, which stands for ODD ATELIER, is a space that aims to create new things that attract attention in a different way from what is usual or expected. It is a label founded by artist JENNIE in November 2023.” Along with the concise description of OA, the account also shared three black-and-white images of Jennie.

 

Jennie also dually shared a post with the OA account, confirming the news that OA is the newest brainchild of the international pop star. She shared a note on Instagram regarding the launch of OA, “This year was filled with many accomplishments, and I’m so thankful for all the love I’ve received. I’m also excited about what’s to come, as I start my solo journey in 2024 with a company that I have established called OA. Please show lots of love for my new start with OA and of course, Blackpink.”

In just two days, the OA account has already amassed over 1 million followers, underscoring Jennie’s undeniable global popularity. Fans have been left wanting more, especially since no one yet knows what exactly to expect from OA. Blinks have also been leaving messages of support on the label’s Instagram posts, congratulating the rapper for the big achievement of setting up her own company. 

 

Since first coming onto the scene in 2016 with Blackpink, Jennie has always been deemed a trailblazer and trendsetter. Her unique look and distinct sense of style have led her into the heart of fashion, earning her the title of the ‘Human Chanel’ as an ambassador of the luxury house. A regular attendee of fashion shows at Paris Fashion Week, Jennie was also recently the face of Jacquemus’ holiday campaign. With all these accomplishments and more behind Jennie, it’s safe to say we’re hyped to see what’s going to emerge from Odd Atelier.
