While denim-on-denim and exposed thongs may be considered fashion crimes to some, more sinister offenses are the subject Last Looks, a new true crime docuseries. Out now on Quibi, the show covers the greatest mysteries and murders that the fashion world has ever witnessed, including Anna Delvey’s socialite scamming, Maurizio Gucci’s death at the hands of his ex-wife Patrizia Reggiani, and the alleged cult-involved suicide of model Ruslana Korshunova.

The series tells these chilling tales and more through personal accounts from people close to each case, dramatised reenactments, and narration by award-winning actress Dakota Fanning. Six fashion industry tragedies are covered across the 18-episode run, delivering the true crime stories in Quibi’s succinct format.

While Last Looks was announced back in March 2020, the streaming platform just released the official trailer this week. Featuring authentic news clips, glossy recreations, and all the drama you’d expect from a crime show, it doesn’t miss a beat.

The show comes shortly after news that Delvey will be released on parole in early 2021. The fake heiress shook the fashion world so greatly that another upcoming miniseries will be dedicated to her rise and fall in New York’s high society, starring Ozark’s Julia Garner as Delvey.

Lady Gaga is also tied to another project that focuses on the relationship between Reggiani and Gucci, with the star taking on the role of the Italian businessman’s ex-wife. Ridley Scott will be directing the feature and the film is slated to premiere in November 2021.

Stream Last Looks here, and look out for with new episodes releasing each weekday.
