Park Seo-joon, Han So-hee & More Show Support for Sister19’s Long-Awaited Comeback
The Gyeongseong Creature stars, Lee Sung-kyung and more attended the listening party for ‘No More (Ma Boy)’.
The iconic duo Sistar19, best known for their sultry discography, is having a comeback after 11 long years. On January 14, Sistar19 organised a private listening party for close friends to get a first look at their comeback title track ‘No More (Ma Boy)’, a play on the pair’s previous hit song from 2011 ‘Ma Boy’. Many big names in the Korean entertainment industry showed up at the party to express heartfelt congratulations and show support for the duo’s highly-anticipated comeback.
Of the star-studded crowd, we spotted fellow Sistar member Soyou, as well as Gyeongseong Creature stars Han So-hee and Park Seo-joon. Park Seo-joon acted alongside Hyolyn in the high-teen Korean drama Dream High 2 and also co-hosted Music Bank with Bora in 2013. Actresses Lee Sung-kyung and So Ju-yeon of Dr Romantic 3 also made an appearance at the party. Shownu from Monsta X as well as hit dancers Aiki and Honey J attended the listening party in support of Sistar19 too.
Both Hyolyn and Bora took to their Instagram accounts to share photos from the night as well as express gratitude for their friends who took the time to attend the listening party. On her Instagram post with her fellow K-entertainment friends, Hyolyn shared, “To celebrate the return of Sistar19. Thank you to everyone who took the time to come out! Thank you so so much.” In a series of simple posts, Bora wrote, “Thank you for celebrating SISTAR19’s comeback!”
Sistar19 is expected to release their newest EP ‘No More (Ma Boy)’ on January 16, 11 years after their last release ‘Gone (Not Around Any Longer)’ in 2013. The EP will include the title track as well as ‘Saucy’, stirring up the excitement of fans who have waited more than a decade for new music from the duo.
