Paris Hilton's Engagement Ring Is A Sight To Behold
This year, Paris Hilton has got one more reason to celebrate: the beginning of her engagement to Carter Reum. The couple, who have been in a relationship since 2019, were on a trip to a private island to celebrate the heiress' 40th birthday when Reum proposed. Hilton disclosed details about the occasion as well as the beautiful ring – which was designed by Jean Dousset – on Instagram.
“When a walk on the beach changes your life. Carter marked my birthday in the most stunning way,” reveals Paris along with an Instagram post.
“My love and I have been together since our first date and, for my birthday, he organised a special trip to a tropical paradise,” she shares. "As we walked to dinner along the beach, Carter took us to a hut adorned with flowers and knelt down."
No details were released on the jewel's main stone, which is accompanied by two smaller ones. But in an interview with Insider, Apeksha Kothari of Rare Carat reveals that she believes the ring cost about $1 million and has a 10-carat emerald cut diamond. However, there are those who believe that the jewel may have cost even more. Estate Diamond Jewelry speculates that the main diamond is 22 carats and that the jewel would be worth $ 2.5 million.
This is Hilton's fourth engagement.
