Kate Middleton Smiles in Video of Outing to Farm Shop With Prince William
Recent photos and video taken at a farm shop in Windsor show the Princess of Wales looking happy and well.
Another day, another Kate Middleton update. Recent footage published by The Sun and TMZ purports to show the Princess smiling during an excursion to a local Windsor farm shop with Prince William on Saturday. The Prince and Princess of Wales visited the Windsor Farm Shop over the weekend, while Kate continued her recovery from a scheduled abdominal surgery.
In the newly published video—taken by an eyewitness named Nelson Silva—Kate appears cheerful, walking with her husband and carrying shopping bags.
Kensington Palace announced that the princess would be on a temporary hiatus from her royal responsibilities following surgery. In January, a palace representative stated that the 42-year-old spent a fortnight in the hospital recovering, with plans to resume her public engagements after Easter.
However, according to The Sun, Middleton has managed to venture out for some shopping and was recently able to watch her children participate in sports activities. The video updated by The Sun is believed to be the first visual record of Kate since her surgery. But not everyone seems convinced.
Earlier this month, Kensington Palace released a photo of Kate and her children in honour of U.K.'s Mother's Day. However, the image stirred controversy when it was revealed that it was doctored.
Kate later addressed the issue and apologized for any confusion caused. On X (formerly Twitter), she wrote, "Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing, I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C."
