Kate Middleton and Her Team Are 'Working Around the Clock' Preparing for Her Return
As she a return to her post as a working royal, she brings in reinforcements for help.
Following Kate Middleton's abdominal surgery on January 17, Kensington Palace announced that the Princess wasn't due to re-enter the public eye until Easter. Now that the holiday is quickly approaching, top team is working "around the clock” to prepare for the princess's reentry back to her role as a working royal.
Since March 4, the Princess of Wales has been spotted three times, all of which have been subject to intense scrutiny from the media as royal fans ruminate over the countless theories regarding her disappearance. According to The Mirror, two former aides who are known for being “well-established public relations experts” have been asked about Kate's routine back to normalcy following months of intense speculation.
“The teams are working round the clock to devise the Princess of Wales’s back-to-work plan after weeks of immense pressure. They all know that the world will be watching after weeks of heightened speculation and often an outlandish commentary on social media,” a source said to The Mirror.
The established PR team at Kensington Palace won't be alone in helping Middleton through this transition though, as the princess recently appointed a new private secretary, Lieutenant Colonel Tom White. Reports from The Sun say that Lieutenant White is actively working with Middleton to devise a plan so she can comfortably return to work. The Sun also adds that Prince William's private secretary Ian Patrick is helping the couple through the princess's comeback as well.
The Mirror also adds that William and Kate could be consulting their former communications chief, Jason Knauf, who transitioned to the role of CEO within their charitable organization, the Royal Foundation. Knauf currently serves on the board of William’s Earthshot Prize and has received numerous accolades for his contributions, notably being appointed to King Charles’ inaugural New Year Honours List.
