IVE Concludes First World Tour with Encore Stadium Concerts in Seoul & Japan
After touring 27 cities in 19 countries all over the world, their world tour ended with a bang for two magical nights at KSPO Dome.
In a spectacular finale to their groundbreaking global journey, K-pop sensation IVE concluded their inaugural world tour with two electrifying encore performances at Seoul’s KSPO Dome on August 10th and 11th. The "Show What I Have" tour, which had already captivated audiences across 27 cities in 19 countries spanning Europe, Asia, North America, and South America since its launch last October, reached a thrilling climax in the heart of Seoul and shortly after, Japan. Over the course of more than three hours, IVE dazzled fans with an array of performances that showcased the distinct talents and irresistible allure of each of its six members.
This encore was more than just a concert; it was a testament to IVE's remarkable evolution. From the moment they took the stage, the group exuded boundless energy, commanding the audience’s attention with a dynamic live band accompaniment to hits such as "I AM," "ROYAL," and "Blue Blood." The evening was a masterclass in versatility, as the members not only delivered powerful group performances but also mesmerized with solo and unit stages. Gaeul’s rendition of Ariana Grande's "7 Rings," Rei’s soulful cover of NIKI's "Every Summertime," and the enchanting duet by Jang Won-young and Liz of "When Will My Life Begin" from the animated film "Rapunzel" (2010) left the audience spellbound. The intensity of Ahn Yu-jin and Lee Seo’s performance of Little Mix’s "Woman Like Me" further highlighted the group’s diverse range.
The Seoul audience was also treated to the debut performances of “Accendio,” “Heya,” and “Blue Heart,” tracks from IVE’s latest album “IVE Switch,” which was released in April during their tour. In just under three years since their debut, IVE has rapidly ascended to become one of the most coveted names in K-pop, thanks in no small part to their infectious hits and the charismatic presence each member brings, both on and off the stage. This summer, IVE marked a significant milestone with their U.S. music festival debut at Lollapalooza Chicago on August 3rd, further solidifying their global appeal.
Looking ahead, IVE is poised for more monumental moments with two additional encore performances at Tokyo Dome, Japan’s largest concert venue, on September 4th and 5th. The group will also grace the stage at the Summer Sonic 2024 music festival in Tokyo on August 18th, ahead of the highly anticipated release of their new Japanese EP, “Alive,” on August 28th.
