In 2019, the star-studded independent mystery film Knives Out surprised everyone with its thrilling yet comedic story–a dysfunctional family fighting over their late elder's fortune. There were talks of a sequel with very few details. After a long-awaited journey, the sequel Glass Onion: A Knives Out Story has finally received a release date. With a change of cast and setting, here's everything we know about the Knives Out sequel.
Release Date
The film is getting a winter release date just in time for the holidays. The movie will be available to watch on Netflix on December 23. Viewers craving the full movie theatre experience, don't worry! The film will also be open for viewing at select theatres.
Cast
The sequel will feature an all-new list of suspects being viewed under Detective Benoit Blanc's close eye. The film is set to star Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson, Edward Norton, Jessica Henwick, and Dave Bautista. It was announced in the early stages of the film that Daniel Craig would reprise his role as Benoit Blanc, the always-sceptical southern detective.
The sequel's predecessor also had a full-fledged cast list. Ana de Armas, Chris Evans, Katherine Langford, and Jamie Lee Curtis were some faces that graced the initial film. However, the chances of them appearing in the sequel are unlikely.

Expect lots of laughs and lots of twists and turns from this sequel. Even with this latest announcement, any details about the film are being kept under wraps.
