Gird Your Loins! The Fight to Win a Call with ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ Cast is On
Talk about a life-changing meet-and-greet with a good cause. The cast of the cult-favourite 2006 film ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ will reunite once again to raise money for non-profit organisation the Lollipop Theater Network to help bring entertainment to children suffering from chronic or life-threatening diseases confined to hospitals in the US.
In honour of its 20th anniversary, the network has organised an exclusive auction for one lucky person to win a private Zoom call with four of Hollywood’s greats — Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci.
Lucky for bidders, the call is valid for up to two people — which means that you and your best friend can take turns getting the scoop on what you’ve always wanted to know about the film or characters from the cast themselves. It’s the opportunity of a lifetime!
In an official statement, Lollipop Theater Network’s executive director Evelyn Iocolano says: “We are so thrilled to be celebrating our 20th anniversary with our amazing partners at Charitybuzz and the incredibly talented cast of ‘The Devil Wears Prada. We have seen the tremendous impact that these kinds of interactions have on our young patients, and now one lucky bidder will have the chance to experience it themselves, all while contributing much-needed funds to keep our programs up and running! Here’s to the next 20 years of Lollipop!”
It is said that the estimated value of the call is worth around $50,000 USD. As of right now — a week before the end of the auction, the highest bid is at $16,000 USD.
