Dua Lipa Taps Belgian Music Artist Angèle For New Single "Fever"
October is shaping up to be an outstanding month in terms of music, with scores of new songs and albums being released by fan-favourite artists including Blackpink, Ariana Grande, Sam Smith, Doja Cat, Mariah Carey and more. Now, Dua Lipa joins that lengthy list with a brand new single, "Fever", which lands this Friday (October 30) and features Belgian singer-songwriter Angèle.
The rumours started flying when the two pop stars were spotted together in London earlier this month while filming their music video (in a takeaway kebab shop, no less), and went into overdrive as the duo traded thermometer and fire emojis back and forth on their respective social media platforms. Lipa and Angèle finally confirmed their collaboration over the weekend on Instagram and Twitter, with the Belgian artist writing, "I think quelque chose is coming bientôt with @dualipa".
"Fever" comes straight after the release of Lipa's remix of "Levitating" together with DaBaby, and is her first new track since her critically-acclaimed second album Future Nostalgia premiered back in March. Another collaboration, this time with Miley Cyrus, is reportedly also on the way, with Cyrus saying it will drop "pretty soon" and is "perfectly a blend of the both of us". We're certainly not complaining!
