What You Can Expect from Disney+ Day
The premiere and making of Marvel’s 'Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings', Billie Eilish’s new documentary, and many more. Here are all the titles you can look forward to when Disney+ Day comes around.
November 12 marks the day most entertainment gurus have been anxiously waiting for: Disney+ Day. To celebrate the platform expanding into new Asia-Pacific markets, Disney+ will be unveiling new content across its platform for the pleasure of popular culture fans everywhere.
On top of that, subscribers can expect to view a special presentation of what’s to come on the platform – including breaking news, first looks at upcoming content, trailers, exclusive clips, and appearances by Disney+ stars, as well as gain access to promotions and experiences across the corporation and at shopDisney.com.
“The inaugural Disney+ Day will be a grand-scale celebration of our subscribers across the entire company,” says Bob Chapek, Chief Executive Officer, The Walt Disney Company. “This day of appreciation brings to life our mission to entertain, inform, and inspire fans and families around the globe through the power of unparalleled storytelling, and will become an annual tentpole event to be amplified across our global businesses.”
New Titles to Premiere on Disney+
On Friday, subscribers can expect to see an array of new content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic. The most notable features include the premiere and making of Marvel’s ‘Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings’, the unveiling of a new follow-up Billie Eilish documentary titled ‘The Making of Happier than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles’, and the release of Disney’s ‘Jungle Cruise’.
On top of that, Disney+ will also be premiering a special episode revisiting all of Marvel’s Hawkeye moments before the release of his upcoming Disney+ Original Series in late November, and a new Disney+ Original movie ‘Home Sweet Home Alone’ and series ‘Olaf Presents’.
Marvel fans can also be on the lookout for a special segment detailing what to expect from the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We predict we’ll be able to get a sneak peek into the upcoming ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’, and even get premiere dates for season 2 of the ‘Loki’ series and some intel on the rumoured Agatha Harkness-centred series.
And that’s just for Disney. Other titles to enter the platform include the 2007 cult-favourite film ‘Enchanted’, an animated short film from Pixar titled ‘Ciao Alberto’, one from ‘The Simpsons’, the first five episodes of National Geographic’s ‘The World According to Jeff Goldblum’ (season 2), a special on Star Wars’ Boba Fett, and an original series titled ‘Dopesick’ starring Michael Keaton.
