We’re living in some pretty surreal times, aren’t we? In the space of a few weeks, what we would consider as normal has been totally upended by the ongoing pandemic, and as we adjust to the everyday reality of life at home, we are all having to get creative so as to stay safe and sane. That’s where Bottega Veneta comes in. The Italian house has launched a new virtual residency programme as “a theatre of joyous distraction, in order to provide comfort in a time of uncertainty and isolation, and to nourish our minds with a much-needed boost of inspiration.

“Creativity and strength lie at the heart of Bottega Veneta,” explains Daniel Lee. “In this highly distressing time, we feel a responsibility to celebrate those values and ignite a sense of joy and hope in our community and beyond.”

Each week, the Bottega Residency will see a cast of friends, muses, and talents celebrate the creative minds and bodies of work that have influenced their lives and touched their souls, from writers and musicians to film directors and performers. First up will be Lee himself, followed by Tyrone Lebon, the photographer behind many of the brand's stunning campaigns. And on the weekends, the multi-concept platform will host live music performances, cook-along sessions with rising-star chefs, and a movie night every Sunday.

If you’re as stoked about it as we are (and you should be), you can catch the Bottega Residency on Instagram, YouTube, Weibo, Line, Kakao, Spotify, and Apple Music, as well as on bottegaveneta.com.
