Blackpink's hit single "How You Like That" garnered over a billion streams this week, making them the first K-pop girl group to accomplish this feat. The track has joined Spotify's prestigious 'Billions Club' playlist, which features an array of chart-topping songs that have each garnered over one billion streams on the streaming service. Notable K-Pop singles, including BTS's  'Dynamite' and 'Butter', also share the honor of being a part of the 'Billions Club'.

Notably, some members of the famed girl group have reached this milestone with their solo projects, as Lisa did with her viral solo track 'Money'. Another group member, Jennie, has also achieved high streaming numbers with her solo projects. Her music video for 'Solo' hit one billion views on YouTube, making her only the second K-pop artist to achieve this feat, alongside Psy's "Gangnam Style" from the 2010s.

"How You Like That" shares the 'Billions Club' with other esteemed singles like Justin Timberlake's "Mirrors" and Taylor Swift's "Cruel Summer". Retro classics including Tears for Fears' "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" and Abba's "Dancing Queen" also share this honor with "How You Like That.".

This accomplishment isn’t the only exciting news for the members of the girl group, as group member Lisa is set to appear in Season 3 of White Lotusmarking the singer's acting debut. Known for her captivating stage presence and as the face of French luxury brand Celine, Lisa will be credited under her birth name, Lalisa Manobal, in the upcoming third season of the show, set in Thailand, her homeland. Last week, Blackpink's Jisoo was announced as the newest global ambassador for the London-based fashion label Self-Portrait and is the face of their latest Spring/Summer 2024 campaign. Meanwhile, Jennie recently collaborated with Brockhampton's Matt Champion on the single 'Slow Motion.' This marks the first release from the Blackpink singer since she established her agency, Odd Atelier, in December 2023.
