An unexpected moment of worlds colliding occured today when A-list Hollywood actor, Ryan Gosling sent a video message to BTS' Jimin — hilariously calling him out for wearing a similar outfit that he wore as Ken in the much talked about Barbie movie. "Hi Jimin, it’s Ryan Gosling here," he said, "I notice that your “Permission to Dance” outfit is the same as my Ken outfit in the upcoming movie Barbie. I have to give it to you — you wore it first."

The outfit in question is a black and white ranch style jacket, featuring embroidered flowers and white fringe, which the K-pop icon had famously worn in the 'Permission to Dance' music video. Though it isn't confirmed by either parties, it looks to be a piece by New York label, H Bar C Ranchwear. Founded in Brooklyn as far back as 1897, the brand has supplied clothes for several western movies, clothing the likes of Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, John Wayne, Elvis Presley, John Travolta to name only a few.

"You definitely wore it best and there’s an unspoken Ken code that if you bite another Ken’s style, you have to give them your most prized possession," he added, holding up a black acoustic guitar with 'Ken' written like a Metallica's logo from the movie, "Besides, Ken doesn’t really play anyway, so… it’ll be much better in your hands."

Fans were elated by the cheeky yet heartfelt video and speculated how Jimin would be so happy receiving this gift as the idol is reportedly a huge fan of The Notebook (a classic film that starred Gosling). Will we get to see Jimin posing with the nowfamed guitar? Only time will tell, but we're keeping our eyes peeled.
