The Coachella music festival will be welcoming three major Korean acts in April. Across two weekends in April 2024, the Coachella stages in California will play host to boy band ATEEZ, girl group Le Sserafim as well as indie-rock band The Rose. The famous music festival, as loved by celebrities, influencers and music lovers alike, will feature Lana Del Rey, Tyler the Creator, Doja Cat and No Doubt as headliners for the event.

This year’s Coachella will take place from April 12 to 14 and April 19 to 21 in the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. ATEEZ will be performing on Fridays April 12 and 19, Le Sserafim will take the stage on Saturdays April 13 and 20, and The Rose will perform their sets on Sundays April 14 and 21. Other notable acts that have been announced to play at Coachella this year include Sabrina Carpenter, Peggy Gou, Tyla (known for her Tiktok viral hit ‘Water’), Japanese duo Yoasobi and Jhené Aiko.

For Korean music acts, playing at major music festivals like Coachella is slowly becoming more common, especially with the meteoric rise of K-pop groups such as Blackpink, BTS and NewJeans. K-pop quartet Blackpink made history in 2019 by becoming the first K-pop girl group to perform at Coachella, only to break an even bigger record just four years later. Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa became the first-ever Korean act to headline at the 2023 edition of Coachella.
