ASTRO's Cha Eun-woo Plans to Release Solo Debut Album This Year
The K-pop idol and actor is reportedly making his solo music debut sooner than you think.
Can't get enough of ASTRO's Cha Eun-woo? 2024 has got you. Dubbed by K-netizens and media as the 'Face Genius', the K-pop idol and actor is revving up for the release of his first solo album early this year.
Reported by Sport TV News, the South Korean media outlet revealed that after eight years since Cha's debut as part of ASTRO, he will be taking his first steps as a solo artist with a brand new solo album and Fan-Con tour early this year. "Cha Eun-woo is preparing his first solo album with the goal of releasing it in the first half of 2024. In particular, he will perform the songs from his solo album for the first time on stage at his first fan concert scheduled to be held at Jamsil Indoor Stadium on February 17," his talent agency, Fantagio said in a press statement, "We are preparing for our goal, so please look forward to it."
Speaking of tours, the statuesque star will be performing some of his brand new solo songs for the first time on his upcoming Asia Fan-Con Tour titled '2024 Just One Ten Minutes - Mystery Elevator' which kicks off on February 17 at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul. Cha will then be bringing his fan concert to Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Manila, Japan, Jakarta and even Singapore. So, AROHAs definitely wouldn't want to miss out on this chance.
While Cha has been making headlines as an actor in the hit drama, A Good Day to be a Dog and even a host at the recent 38th Golden Disc Awards, he made his debut as part of the boy group ASTRO and his known not just for his incredible looks but also his smooth singing voice. Cha has lent his voice to multiple OSTs, with his first being "Rainbow Falling" from the drama he starred in, My ID is Gangnam Beauty. Hence, this will be his first big solo music project outside of OST singles.
