After two years of marriage, Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have separated and heading toward a divorce.
It's over.
After two years of marriage, Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez are getting a divorce. Per an insider source at TMZ, Grande and Gomez have been separated since January and "are heading toward a divorce."
Another anonymous source at Entertainment Weekly said that the couple is "working on their friendship."
The source continued, "Ariana and Dalton’s friends have always been concerned by their whirlwind romance and felt their relationship would ultimately be short-lived. Their relationship has been rocky at different points, and they've had trouble making time for each other with scheduling issues."
According to TMZ, the two started having problems before Grande flew to London in December 2022 as she started filming for Wicked. Speculation about a rocky relationship between Grande and Gomez continued after Grande was recently spotted attending Wimbledon 2023 alongside Wicked co-star and friend, Jonathan Bailey without her wedding ring.
The couple were first linked in 2020, officially announcing their engagement in December of that same year. They've kept their relationship very private, even after tying the knot in May 2021 during a private wedding ceremony at Grande's home in Montecito.
Per TMZ, Grande and Dalton may be getting a divorce, but they "remain friends and still talk on the phone regularly."
