Celebrity makeup artists Son Dae Sik and Park Tae Yoon were the first Korean makeup artists to work backstage at New York and Paris fashion shows, and regularly work with some of the top actresses in the region like Gianna Jun and Song Hye Kyo. The duo’s beauty brand gesgep (pronounced jes-jep) is focused on enhancing natural beauty with simple, sophisticated and efficient products.

Highly pigmented and hydrating, the Lip Fresco ($39 each) comes in 15 shades and feels light and silky on the lips. Another great product is the G Palette ($24 for the case), which allows the customisation of various eyeshadow, blush, contour, concealer and highlighting shades, so none of the pans go untouched.

gesgep is available at escentials Paragon and Metro Causeway Point.

Infuse My. Colour

Coloured hair often looks great at first but can be difficult to maintain once we’re left to our own devices. Without using toner or colour-infused hair products, pretty pastel pink locks can fade to brassy orange in less than two weeks. Rather than letting all those hours in the salon chair to go waste, the Infuse My. Colour range of shampoos ($33 each) does a great job of refreshing and maintaining colour as well as adding it temporarily to bleached hair.

There are five shades ranging to suit various hair colours, and they can be mixed and matched as well for those with multiple tones. Plus, the products are 100% vegan, cruelty free and made without parabens, sulphates or silicone.

Infuse My. Colur is available exclusively at Sephora.sg.
