Nominations For L’Officiel Singapore’s 2021 Beauty Awards Are Now Open

L’Officiel is back with the second rendition of our annual Beauty Awards – this time, in conjunction with the magazine’s 100th year anniversary. Nominate your star products now.

After the success of L'Officiel Singapore's very first Beauty Awards, we’re back with our second rendition, with this year marking extra significance as it comes in conjunction with L'Officiel's 100th anniversary.

Join us as our team of beauty industry experts help sieve through the copious amount of products out in the market to help suss out what works for your skin, what you should invest in, and what’s up and coming in the industry. to build your beauty collection the right way, and for great products to stand out in the market.

This year, alongside the L'Officiel team, we've enlisted the help of makeup artist Larry Yeo, aesthetic doctor Dr Rachel Ho, Dr. Komathy Rajaratnam and world silat champion Nurul Suhaila, to sift through over 100 individual categories of beauty products, spanning skincare, body and makeup.

Each product will be judged based on the following criteria across a total score of 15 points:

1. Its efficacy; does it do what it claims to do on its product description? (15 points)

2. Its sensorial feel; does it feel, smell, and apply well? (5 points)

To qualify, each nominated product must be available in a quantity of five, with the exception of Editor's Picks: Fragrance and Sustainable edit, with one being sent to each judge from 18 to 20 August.

The final deadline for nominations is 16 August and the confirmation will be on 17 August.

Winners will be confirmed on 27 September and will be officially announced in our November 2021 print issue. Winners will also be given an option to purchase a 360 sales package that encompasses a photoshoot, 1-page review on print, and digital coverage with customised videos for social.
