Lizzo Wore Chocolate Scented Nails At The Brit Awards 2020

If you caught the BRIT Awards 2020, you'd have seen that one of the standout looks of the night was Lizzo looking like a literal snack. The music artist wore a Hershey’s themed gown by Jeremy Scott for Moschino, but wasn’t even the best part about her look. Nope, she paired her chocolate bar look with a delectable chocolate bar manicure that had us taking a double take! 

And it was delectable in more ways than one -- apparently, her nails smelled like actual chocolate, too. 

This was the work of celebrity nail artist Eri Ishizhu, who used Nails.INC’s chocolate-scented nail polish, the Coco For Real duo to create this delicious-looking nail look. To achieve it, the nail artist used a milky beige colour for the base of the nail, and a deeper brown shade on the top half of the nail, which were seperated with metallic silver polish in the middle to mimic a chocolate wrapper effect.

If you’re nominated eight times, you go big or go home, and Lizzo's nails pretty much proves it. She came through drippin’, with literal jewels dripping off her nails. The base comes in a rich white from Christian Louboutin in shade Madame Est Nue.

Lizzo wore crystal bubble nails to pair with her oh-so-cute tiny Valentino bag that went viral, sparking its own twitter account in its wake. 

To quote Lizzo on instagram, the music artist was a “whole damn tree,” from her House of Holland dress right down to her woodgrain nails. This was achieved using Essie nail polishes in white base of “blanc” and “less is aura” and the wood grain lines of shades “truth or bare” “seeing stars” “licorice.”
