Turbulent times call for soothing activities, and some of our favourite A-list celebrities are here to help. Kaia Gerber, Margot Robbie and Lupita Nyong'o are just a few of the readers participating in #SaveWithStories, a new charity initiative devised by Jennifer Garner and Amy Adams.

The initiative was launched in partnership with the Save The Children and No Kid Hungry, charities that are aiding vulnerable children during the coronavirus outbreak. The intiative brings together actors, models and artists to read a children's book aloud, to help educate those living under isolation.

This was move was created in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, with many more kids spending time at home and parents having to find new ways to entertain and educate them.

The initiative also raises money to support food banks, mobile meal trucks and community food programs, in consideration of the effect it will have on the millions of children who depend on their school for food during quarantine, as well as providing educational toys and books.

These celebrity bedtime stories are posted on their Instagram feeds and followers are encouraged to donate to the cause, following the instructions provided in the video captions. More than 100 stars have participated in this intiative, including Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington, Cindy Crawford, Gabrielle Union, Laura Dern, Eddie Redmayne, Natalie Portman and Gal Gadot .
