Louis Vuitton is Launching a Line of Menswear Essentials by Virgil Abloh

Here's your first look at the new Staples Edition by Louis Vuitton.

If you can't get enough of Virgil Abloh's designs for Louis Vuitton, you're in for a treat. The Maison has announced the launch of the new Staples Edition by Louis Vuitton, a seasonal capsule collection of "essential garments and accessories" designed by Abloh to add to your wardrobe, right next to your striking harnesses and holographic monogrammed bags.

With a focus on functionality and modernity, Staples Edition by Louis Vuitton will feature all the clothing, shoes, accessories and leather goods that you'll ever really need, according to the Off-White founder. The pieces will also come in an array of neutral colours like brown, blue and black, so that they'll never look outdated.

The real draw of the pared-back pieces is their luxurious construction, including the cutting, fabrics and design techniques used. You'll also notice some details exclusive to the collection: a Louis Vuitton logo metal staple (get it?), a leather triangular tab, a leather-printed folded manual attached to a carabiner, or a button featuring a stitching of the LV logo.
