Watch the Trailer for the New Alexander McQueen Documentary
Legend, provocateur, genius: those are the words chosen to describe the late and great British fashion designer Alexander McQueen in the trailer for a new documentary dedicated to him.
Directed by Ian Bonhôte, McQueen chronicles the life and career of the eponymous designer from his humble beginnings as a Central Saint Martins graduate to the founding of his renowned namesake label in 1992 and his troubled days as chief designer of Givenchy in 1997.
The 111-minute film gives viewers an intimate look into McQueen's world as well as his final years as a designer before his suicide in 2010 through exclusive interviews with his closest friends, collaborators and family. It also highlights the illustrious designer's unparalleled creative vision with rare fashion show footage and archive audio.
