Here are the social highlights of one of Asia's leading yachting events, which returns for its eighth edition on 12 April 

Taking place from 12 to 15 April, the&nbsp;<a href="http://www.singaporeyachtshow.com/">Singapore Yacht Show 2018</a> is back for its eighth year running with a&nbsp;line-up of the world&#39;s most prestigious superyachts and boating brands. Held at the&nbsp;award-winning ONE&deg;15 Marina in Sentosa Cove, the show will present the&nbsp;regional&nbsp;debuts of an array of luxurious vessels from Boating Lagoon Yachting, Simpson Marine, Hong Seh Marine, ProMarine and&nbsp;more.&nbsp;

Stunning yachts aside, Asia&#39;s biggest boat&nbsp;show will also play&nbsp;host to a dazzling social calendar: expect glamorous VIP dinners, networking events and&nbsp;luxurious cocktail parties&nbsp;over the 4-day extravaganza.

Kicking off the festivities is the &quot;All That Glitters&quot; Sentosa Ball, which will be held&nbsp;in the Grand Ballroom of the W Singapore at Sentosa on Thursday, 12 April. Bringing together the who&#39;s who of Asia&#39;s yachting industry, the&nbsp;evening will see 350 VIP guests gather and celebrate with drinks and in style&nbsp;at the extravagant ballroom. A silent auction will also take place with proceeds going to the Biosphere Foundation. Over at the&nbsp;Floating Lounge Bar,&nbsp;enjoy sommelier-led craft beer or take part in a&nbsp;delightful&nbsp;tasting or two at the Wine and Gin Festivals, which&nbsp;will run throughout the show. These are the perfect way to get you hyped up and ready&nbsp;for the cocktail parties that will take place later at night on&nbsp;board &mdash; where else? &mdash; the luxurious superyachts.

Located right at the heart of the Singapore Yacht Show, the Floating Leisure Hub will offer nautical enthusiasts a range of recreational watercrafts for diving, fishing and water sports. Visitors can also catch the pros in action as they demonstrate the jet surf, fly board and wake boards.&nbsp;

Shopping addicts, fret not: there&rsquo;s also a Boardwalk Retail Village for you to indulge in a little luxury retail therapy during the event. Kids won&#39;t miss out on any of the fun either &mdash; there are a range of creative and wellness workshops to take part in, as well as many supercar displays to admire.&nbsp;
