Things To See and Do at The Singapore Yacht Show 2018
Taking place from 12 to 15 April, the Singapore Yacht Show 2018 is back for its eighth year running with a line-up of the world's most prestigious superyachts and boating brands. Held at the award-winning ONE°15 Marina in Sentosa Cove, the show will present the regional debuts of an array of luxurious vessels from Boating Lagoon Yachting, Simpson Marine, Hong Seh Marine, ProMarine and more.
Stunning yachts aside, Asia's biggest boat show will also play host to a dazzling social calendar: expect glamorous VIP dinners, networking events and luxurious cocktail parties over the 4-day extravaganza.
Kicking off the festivities is the "All That Glitters" Sentosa Ball, which will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the W Singapore at Sentosa on Thursday, 12 April. Bringing together the who's who of Asia's yachting industry, the evening will see 350 VIP guests gather and celebrate with drinks and in style at the extravagant ballroom. Over at the Floating Lounge Bar, enjoy sommelier-led craft beer or take part in a delightful tasting or two at the Wine and Gin Festivals, which will run throughout the show. These are the perfect way to get you hyped up and ready for the cocktail parties that will take place later at night on board — where else? — the luxurious superyachts.
Located right at the heart of the Singapore Yacht Show, the Floating Leisure Hub will offer nautical enthusiasts a range of recreational watercrafts for diving, fishing and water sports. Visitors can also catch the pros in action as they demonstrate the jet surf, fly board and wake boards.
Shopping addicts, fret not: there’s also a Boardwalk Retail Village for you to indulge in a little luxury retail therapy during the event. Kids won't miss out on any of the fun either — there are a range of creative and wellness workshops to take part in, as well as many supercar displays to admire.
