Jungle Fever: Versace And Rosenthal Drop A Capsule Of Jungle Print Porcelain Ware

Now you can wear it and eat off it too

Still can’t get enough of Versace’s Jungle print? We don’t blame you. Two decades after Jennifer Lopez broke the nascent internet in that navel-baring, palm-patterned dress, the print has (rightly) become the stuff of fashion legend. And the good news is that now, thanks to the long-standing partnership between Versace and Rosenthal, you can go wild not only with your wardrobe, but with your home too. The heritage brands have joined forces once again to create a fiercely fab collection of Jungle print porcelain ware, which is honestly just what we need to level up our quarantine lifestyle (because Ikea doesn’t quite cut it anymore).

Crafted from the finest porcelain, the tropical collection comprises a dinner plate, a service plate, a square bowl, a fluted vase, a scented candle, and an ashtray. Each piece of china is scrupulously decorated using a transfer printing technique, in order to ensure the exact replication of the original design, and then thoroughly polished for a lustrous sheen. A gold-tone border painted by hand along the edges lends an extra touch of finesse, while the signature Medusa head motif – symbolising power, strength, and beauty – adds a final flourish, her penetrating gaze intensified by intricate Barocco-style curlicues.
