The famed couturier Christian Dior noted in his memoirs that “living in a house that doesn’t reflect who you are is akin to wearing someone else’s clothes”. But thanks to Dior Maison, that’s a problem you won’t have to worry about. Launched 3 years ago, Dior Maison has all you might need and want for beautifying your home, so you can literally eat, sleep, and breathe Dior.

The latest from Dior Maison is the Check’N’Dior collection, designed by creative director Cordelia de Castellane. The series echoes the British inflections in this season’s ready-to-wear line by Maria Grazia Chiuri, paying tribute to Christian Dior’s lifelong passion for England with a proliferation of plaid checks and playing card motifs.

Although plaid is more commonly associated with hipsters nowadays, checks are actually a quintessentially British pattern, derived from the tartan kilts of Scottish clans. The card motifs are a nod to the lucky symbols of Christian Dior, who had a highly superstitious nature, and also allude to the classic English story of Alice in Wonderland.

The patterns and symbols adorn the home linens, plates, cups, tea sets, and more in the Check’N’Dior collection. Check out more of the collection below:
