To prep the patriotic spirit ahead of National Day, head on down to National Design Centre to view art installations by local and locally-based artists telling the Singapore Story.
Support local while getting in your weekend retail therapy as there will be local labels like Stolen, Ying The Label and Carrie K. Jewellery.
It wouldn't be a Singaporean event without indulgent food so satisfy your cravings with uniquely local flavoured chocolates and the Southeast Asian fare available.
27th July 2018 to 5th August 2018, 11am to 9.00pm daily, National Design Centre.

Four hours of free-flow bubbly, cocktails and brunch fare. Need we say more?
We can picture it already: Bopping to beats by resident DJs Anand and Kenneth while feasting on freshly shucked oysters and chic mini sliders washed down with Veuve Clicqout — all while overlooking one of the best views of the bay.

Chance the Rapper — Live in Singapore
Chance the Rapper will be making his Singapore debut this August as part of his Asia Run tour. The rap prodigy made history last year when he became the first artist to bag a Grammy without selling physical copies of his music. Instead, the 25-year-old who hails from Chicago, Illinois releases his music online for free and is not signed to any record label. His biggest hits include "No Problem", "Juke Jam" and "All Night".
Saturday, 25 August 2018, 8pm, ZEPP@BIGBOX Singapore.
Foodpanda Bites & Vibes Pop Up Block Party
Spend a day out with good food, music and wellness activities at Foodpanda's aptly named Bites & Vibes pop up block party.
Amoy Street will be filled with pop up food stalls from some of Singapore's best like PS.Cafe, Vatos Urban Tacos, Park Bench Deli, and Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream. Pair the grub with cocktails from Proof & Co., the talent behind one of Asia Top 50 Bars, 28 HongKong Street. If it all starts to get a little too indulgent, join in one of the fitness classes hosted by the likes of F45 (the 45min workout we're obsessed with), WeBarre and Pure Yoga.
9 September 2018, Sunday, 12 - 10pm, Amoy Street.
For one night only this November, Norwegian DJ Kygo will perform in Singapore — the last stop on his tour spanning Asia, Australia and New Zealand. He's played here before at Ultra Music Festival in 2016, but this is the first time the EDM superstar is having a solo show on our shores.
Known for pioneering the tropical house genre, the Kids in Love Tour will see Kygo perform some of his biggest hits like "Firestone" as well tunes off his latest Kids in Love album like "Stranger Things" featuring One Republic.
5 November 2018, 7.30pm, Singapore Indoor Stadium.
