Dior Proves It's Never Too Early For A Lesson In Style With A Chic New Stroller
It has graced everything from the Saddle bag to suitcases to a scooter, and now, the iconic Dior monogram is lending its distinct flair to another Oblique-enhanced object of desire: a kid’s stroller. Indeed, the first-ever pushchair in the half-century history of Baby Dior, courtesy of a partnership with Inglesina, an Italian brand known for its luxe children’s wares.
High fashion meets high performance in this one-of-a-kind, ergonomic design, which features a modular metal frame equipped with a cushioned seat, a padded safety harness and a sizeable undercarriage basket, and topped off by a retractable canopy in a special canvas that is waterproof and rated UPF 50+. Bedecked in the navy and cream Dior Oblique print, the stroller reveals the Maison’s meticulous attention to detail in the house logo subtly embossed on the leather-encased guardrail and locking wheels.
What's more, a removable bassinet — also emblazoned with the Oblique motif — offers unparalleled support and comfort for infants thanks to its innovative ventilation system and ultra-soft mattress made of natural bamboo fibres. A matching diaper bag in patterned jacquard, meanwhile, proves that Dior can turn just about anything into a style statement, and fits snugly over the handlebars for ease of access.
Sweet in more ways than one, the Baby Dior stroller is the latest on the list of things we didn’t know we needed, but now can’t live without.
