Give Your Home an Elegant Update with Christofle's New Perles Collection

The French luxury brand has added an array of exquisite decorative objects to its iconic Perles collection.

Nobody makes silver look more exquisite than Christofle. The Parisian luxury house truly shines (no pun intended) in creating magnificent silver objects, ranging from tableware and flatware to jewellery. One of the best examples of the brand's technical mastery is the Perles collection, whose pieces are best distinguished by the Louis XVI-style pattern of pearl that adorns them.

While the Perles pattern itself is hundreds of years old — it was first created in 1876 — it hardly looks out of place in Christofle's new range of silver decorative items for the modern home. In the mix are a vase and a centrepiece, both silver-plated with pearls in relief. For more practical purposes, there's also a silver-plated decorative box that features an obsidian handle and an Alcantara fabric lining, on top of its façade of glistening pearls.

Every piece from the new Perles collection is entirely handcrafted by Christofle's artisans, down to each individually-shaped pearl. Though that may be hard to discern through images alone, you'll certainly be able to appreciate the elegant design of each offering below:
